Account and Profile Data: When you register on our job board (app.semahire.com) via Google, we receive your name and email address to authenticate your account. To complete your employer profile and post jobs, we collect business verification details including your company name, website, industry, description, size and country of operation.

Inquiries and Consultation Data: When you book a call or reach out through semahire.com, we collect your name, email and the engineering requirements you share with us to fulfill your request.

Payment Data: We do not collect, process or store financial or payment card information. The platform offers 12 free job postings per year with no credit card required.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries, schedule and prepare for calls, manage job board accounts, display job listings and maintain platform security.

3. Email Communication

We only send essential emails related to your account infrastructure, such as verification links, password resets and critical platform notifications. If you have booked a call or enquired about our engineering services, we will follow up via email. We maintain a strict policy against spam communication.

4. Cookies

SemaHire uses essential cookies to support authentication and platform functionality on the job board. These are necessary for secure login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Storage

Account and platform data are stored using Supabase, which securely manages authentication and database infrastructure. Your data is not shared with third parties beyond what's necessary to operate the platform.

6. Account Deactivation & Data Retention

You may deactivate your job board account at any time from your account settings.

• Your personal information is immediately anonymized upon deactivation.

• Job postings are retained for business and legal purposes but disassociated from your identity.

• All account data is permanently deleted after 90 days.

7. Your Rights

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as SemaHire evolves. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
